Pomorskie Tourist Board on a mission in Japan

In the last week of May, a delegation from the Pomorskie Tourist Board had the honor of participating in the EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan world exhibition as part of the official representation of the Pomorskie region.

The Pomorskie Region was present with a presentation in the Polish Pavilion at the EXPO exhibition, as well as with activities promoting the region’s tourism potential among tour operators and representatives of the Japanese media. One of the key points of our presence in Japan was participation in an economic seminar, which took place on May 27.

The event, organized by the Pomerania Development Agency, began with a speech by Mieczysław Struk, Marshal of the Pomeranian Province, and a speech by former Polish President Lech Wałęsa. The substantive part included a presentation on the economic potential of the Pomeranian region and a presentation by PROT discussing the province’s tourist offer.

Carefully prepared with Japanese audiences in mind, the presentation highlighted the key features of Pomerania’s tourist offer, while also referring to the common cultural and historical themes linking our region with Osaka, Kansai Prefecture, and Japan.

The meeting, organized in cooperation with the Pomerania Development Agency, was attended by over 60 representatives of companies and the media.
